  • Collaborate closely with the Lead to ensure high-level art goals are achievable and anticipate long-term tech dependencies.
  • Work closely with the Lead to anticipate and address any tech decisions or changes that may impact the Art department.
  • Support and mentor the Tech Art team, assisting them in their skills development and career goals.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong experience with Unreal Engine 4 (or above).
  • In-depth knowledge of C++ within the context of Unreal Engine.
  • Expertise in shader development, reviewing, and optimizing.
  • Understanding of modern rendering pipelines, with the ability to assist others.
  • Proficiency in performance optimization techniques and related software, including Renderdoc, Pix, and Unreal Insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extensive experience with version control systems such as Perforce and Git, with the ability to teach essential concepts to artists.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Knowledge of art pipeline and infrastructure development using Python.
  • Experience in Blueprint scripting within Unreal to assist in building editor tooling for the art team.
  • Familiarity with procedural content generation tools like Houdini Engine.
  • Proficiency in working with art production tools such as 3ds Max, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and Maya.

If you are an experienced Principal Technical Artist with a passion for advancing art production pipelines and possess the required skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Join this dynamic team in shaping the future of gaming while fostering your own professional growth.
